Story

Bioptics Imaging (BOI) was founded in early 2025 to address unmet needs in healthcare, with a focus on advancing diffuse optical imaging technologies. The company’s primary motivation is to streamline the development and management of TR-LSCI™ and related optical technologies while pursuing opportunities for product commercialization. Ultimately, BOI aims to bring a clinical-grade TR-LSCI™ device through FDA approval and position it for licensing and broader market adoption. The BOI laboratory is located in Room A115 of ASTeCC (Advanced Science & Technology Commercialization Center), 145 Graham Avenue, Lexington, KY 40506-0286—UK’s business incubator for new and emerging technology-based companies.
